Designing for Education On Khan Academy’s Learning Platform team, I contributed to design sprints and led accessibility projects. This page highlights our Help Center redesign, where I did design and code.
A New Help Center When starting this refresh, Khan was in a transitionary period of design. This project aimed to give the help center long-needed visual and functional unity with the main product.
Coordinating with the team This project was a prime example of designing closely with stakeholders. We needed to address the needs of students, parents, our philanthropy team, and more. One result of working closely with our support team was a variety of quality-of-life improvements for their work.
Improved Accessibility The Help Center redesign also included important accessibility fixes. These included improving focus states, fixing color contrast, reordering headings, adjusting machine-read labels, and more.
